Our hiking guides

Your hiking hotel in Soelden
He knows where the most beautiful spots in the Oetztal Valley are and will take you to some of the most colourful Alpine meadows and the most picturesque mountain lodges: our hiking guide Florian.
Florian doesn't have a very high opinion of gyms and fitness training equipment in buildings: "We live in the most beautiful fitness centre in the world – the open air with sunshine and fresh air!"
Your first contact partner
He will know everything there is to know during your hiking holiday in Soelden – at least when it comes to footpaths, compiling routes and equipment issues etc. Florian knows the many peaks in the area like the back of his hand. He will guide you to some of the most attractive spots in the local mountains.
Constantly by your side
Once you have everything you need (a nature and plant guide, a delicious Tyrolean snack of bread and ham, solid footwear, a rucksack, waterproof clothes and sticks), our hiking guides will take you to some mysterious stops steeped in history. Florian is always a very lucky person: he sees marmots, ibexes and other wild animals almost every day! For this reason, he always has his camera to hand – his top tip! Show your photos to your friends after a hiking holiday in Soelden – they are bound to be impressed! And maybe you will have conquered some of the 256 three-thousand-metre peaks by then! Who knows!
Hiking tips

The starting point for your hike is the little mountaineering village of Vent which is located just a few minutes from Soelden. From here, the route leads up the Mutsbuehel to the Ramolalm. You will be rewarded with views of the Wildspitze, the highest mountain in Tyrol and other peaks to make all the effort worthwhile!
