Exploring new trails
Slip into your hiking boots, pack your rucksack and head out into the fascinating mountains of the Oetztal Alps! Whether with or without a mountain guide: enjoy hiking in the natural mountain landscapes of the Tyrol and re-discover nature.
A wide range of hiking routes extend out from the Soelderhof. We are happy to share our expertise with you! You will be in the very best of hands with our hiking guides in the Tyrol!
The highest parts of the Tyrol
The resort of Soelden is located at an altitude of 1,370 m. And from here, it goes up even further! The Oetztal Valley is home to the highest peaks in North Tyrol – in particular the Wildspitze at 3,768 m. But you don't have to climb this far if you don't want to. Some of the mountain huts and lodges in the hiking region are located at around 2,000 m and can be accessed via various routes: professionals can hike up the slopes of the Oetztal Valley but for those who prefer a more comfortable journey, part of the route can be completed by lift or car.
The right equipment
Rucksacks and sticks can be hired for free from the Hotel Soelderhof. In order to explore the footpaths of the Oetztal Valley to the full, our hiking guide Florian recommends that you take a nature and plant guide with you. This will enable you to identify all of the plants and animals in the region. And don't forget to take enough water and a snack with you! Your expert guides will tell you which mountain brooks and springs you can use to re-fill your drinking bottle on your guided walk.
A visit to the hotel's own well-being area is ideal for relaxing after a long day's walk and will allow you to recuperate ready for your next walk in the Oetztal Valley. Experience genuine Tyrolean hospitality and book your holiday directly online or send us a non-binding holiday enquiry. The team at the Soelderhof are looking forward to meeting you!
